Double chin – Dr. Braun de Praun treatments

Whether due to genes, excess weight, or aging of the skin, a double chin is often perceived as an especially prominent flaw in a person’s face. To restore clear structure to your chin, we offer not only operations to remove fat or tighten the skin, but also four non-invasive treatments.

Velashape III

The high energy of bipolar radio frequency and vacuum act deep within the tissue to destroy fat cells. The connective tissue is restructured, additionally tightening the skin in this area. There will be some reddening of the skin for a short time after treatment, but you will otherwise be presentable right away. You can look forward to a slimmer chin after just two treatments at a two-week interval.

Ultherapy®

Ultherapy® is used mainly to tighten the skin in case of small fat deposits, so it is perfect for restoring the aesthetically pleasing shape of the chin. Your chin will change gradually after just one treatment, with no one around you the wiser. With this treatment as well, you will be presentable in public immediately afterward.

Fat-away syringe

A special cocktail of soy extracts and other substances banishes your double chin when treated with fat-dissolving injections. This simple, proven method delivers lasting results. After treatment, you may experience temporary swelling and bruising. At least two sessions are required, three weeks apart.

Kryolipolyse

In cryolipolysis, or fat freezing, fat cells are banished through controlled cooling. This method was only recently introduced for the chin area, however, so there is no long-term experience to build on. For this reason, I currently recommend one of the non-invasive methods discussed above.
